"The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." - Cicero, 55 BC

 LIST OF ISSUES

EDUCATION

We believe State and Federal policy makers should promote reforms that will bring dollars and decision making back to parents through school choice voucher programs. Implementing pay for performance measures for educators that are equitable & transparent is also crucial.

ENERGY

We believe in free market energy production. No protections, subsidies, or regulations should result in energy winners and losers. We advocate that government remain neutral and level the playing field. Consumers should reap the benefits of a healthy energy market - competition, lower prices, and more options.

HEALTHCARE

Consumers are far better off when they, and not the government, are in charge of how their money is spent. Healthcare coverage, and expense should be a personal option.

ENVIRONMENT

Conservation is a conservative value. As the pioneer of conservation over a century ago, the Republican Party believes in the moral obligation of the people to be good stewards of the God-given natural beauty and resources of our country and bases environmental policy on several common-sense principles.

LABOR

We believe that the employer-employee relationship of the future will be built upon employee empowerment and workplace flexibility. Today's workforce is independent, wants flexibility in working conditions, needs family-friendly options, and is most productive when allowed to innovate and remove artifical government barriers.

FISCAL POLICY

We support lower levels of public spending, lower taxes and lower government debt. Government and sprawling bureaucracy has reached unsustainable proportions. It’s time to “starve the beast” and propound a tight monetary policy to stop inflation.
